Visiting Africa
Teddy went to Africa to hunt big game and collect samples for the Smithsonian Institution. While he was hunting there he killed 512 animals and collected over 1,000 samples.

Nominated Bull-Moose Party Candidate
People were not happy with President Taft's way of governing. They split off into another party that is known as the Bull-Moose party. They nominated Teddy Roosevelt as their Presidential candidate; however, he did not win the election.
