Microsoft Azure, at the time was the second cloud computing platform, its competitor being Amazon Web Services. Azure provided fast upload times, created more space and even won a 10 billion dollar government contract over AWS proving it was the better option in the governments eyes. -

The Chromebook, designed to be cheap laptops with great computing power, ushered in a new wave of business and personal use laptops. Equipped for all day use and lightweight so it could be carried around anywhere you needed it to go. -
Minecraft

Minecraft was a video game created by a company named Mojang and quickly became a favorite amongst children, youth, and even adults. It changed the way people viewed video games and gave all users the access to explore, create and enjoy together in split screen modes. -
Xbox One and Playstation 4

Though the Xbox and Playstation rivalry had been going on for nearly a decade at this time, the release of the Xbox one and the playstation 4 helped create an environment for gaming that was unheard of. Downloading games became faster, faster computing and processing speeds, and interactive play with people from around the world in real world time.
