  • 2010: The Ipad

    2010: The Ipad
    iPad was released to the public, at a price of $499 and invented by Steve Jobs. There was already a Tablet Pc back in 2002, but according to my research it was not the best. It was glitchy, bulky and very inconvenient whatsoever. The iPad was/is a very reliable and simple device.
  • 2013: PS4 and Xbox One.

    PS4 being invested by Sony Computer Entertainment, announced in February of 2013 and launched in November 15th in the US. Xbox one invented by Microsoft, and announced in May of 2013 as the successor of the Xbox 360. This was the first generation of games that embraced 4k TVs and in more advanced models the HDR image quality.
  • 2015: Alexa Ecosystem.

    2015: Alexa Ecosystem.
    Alexa was created by Amazon and released back in 2015. Alexa is smart, fast, reliable and it has a load of apps or "skills" that make it unique. At first some people thought Alexa was useless, but with the birth of smart T.Vs, smart refrigerators and lights it's of a lot of help. You can ask her to make a list or even order your groceries, this way making her a practical aspect of everyday life.
  • 2016: Pokémon GO

    2016: Pokémon GO
    This game according to ZDnet has been downloaded more than 750 million times, and it has gained more than 1.2 billions in revenue. This game was everything everyone would talk about for moths, everyone wanted to catch Pokémon at the park back then. It encouraged people to go outside and interact with other people as well. This game brought a lot of nostalgia to some users, and it was also a virtual scavenger haunt. Which made it so popular and explains why everyone was playing it.
  • 2017: Nintendo Switch

    2017: Nintendo Switch
    Nintendo release the Wii which was very successful, and then they released Wii U which was a flop on the market. They stayed off the grid until 2017 with the release of the Nintendo Switch. This device combines an at-home console and a portable device all in one. Their game design was on point, and caused everyone to buy it. The Nintendo Switch costs around $360 if not more.
