In 1990, Thomas Knoll and John Knoll created the first big photo editing program called Adobe Photoshop. They noticed how there was a lack of any photo editing computer programs so they decided to develop their own. After working on it for a while, they got funded by Adobe to finish their product and it was finally released in early 1990 allowing easy access to photo editing programs.

In 1992, the first text message was sent, this changed the way people were able to communicate with each other making it very accessible and easy. The text message was invented by Neil Papworth, he sent the first message to a friend, saying “Merry Christmas”.

In 1996, Larry Page and Sergey Brin wrote a program for a search engine they were creating. In 1997, they were able to register the name google.com and they continued to improve their program. It was fully considered a corporation in 1998.
