Adobe Photoshop
Nothing in advertising and photography was the same after Photoshop. Photoshop was released in 1990 and grew into quite possibly the most important photo editing tool of all time. -
The Internet
The idea of an internet (multiple computers communicating together) was first invented in 1960s as a military project. Soon it would become a useful tool for scientists to communicate and would eventually make its appearance on the world stage in 1991 as a global commercial network. -
Sony PlayStation
The PlayStation (now referred to as the PlayStation 1) released in 1994 and completely revolutionized the gaming industry. Gaming consoles were once thought to be mostly for young kids but with the PlayStation and it's ability to run very in depth and graphically superior games, adults soon started to love it as well. -
DVD's (Digital Video Disks)
One of the most important advancements of the 1990s is the DVD. It completely revolutionized the video recording industry and all but wiped out the VHS tape. -
Game Boy Color
The game boy color was a product produced by Nintendo in 1998 as the first handheld gaming system with a full color screen. This product was so far of its competitors almost no one had an even working prototype when Nintendo first released the device.
