From there, social media grew and extended to more platforms, and became much more popular to where even children are participating. It also became a way to spread fake news or hate speech, which this platform continues to struggle with -

The first iPhone, introduced by Steve Jobs was huge for basically being a laptop that could fit in your back pocket. This allowed for increased communication, accessibility, entertainment, and convenience. Soon, a smartphone became a necessary item and society progressed to accommodate, and even rely on their abilities -
Instagram
Instagram was founded by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger for the purpose of social networking that focused on pictures and videos. It started out as a site similar to facebook, but then grew into almost it's own category. Instagram is now used for almost everything. It's used for businesses and entertainment, and advertising, and shopping, and can be an extension of our lives. -
SnapChat
SnapChat, another social media platform, was created by Evan Spiegel and Bobby Murphy. This invention stemmed from the use of emoticons, or emojis, and wanting an additional way to express emotions aside from words. It was a very convenient way of small communication, allowing for back and forth conversations like texting, that was much more practical that other social media platforms. -
Apple Watch
This watch was presented by CEO Tim Cook. The apple watch has the functionality of an iPhone, and it's abilities allow to you communicate with and view almost anything on your phone. This has become an additional technological presence, as it is always on a person, and is even more accessible and convenient than a laptop or cell phone.
