  • America Online

    America Online
    AOL started out as Control Video Corp., which was a company that would hook up to your Atari through you phone line to rent games for $1. It was founded by Bill von Meister in 1983. The company went bust a few years later ands was renamed America Online in 1992. AOL was 1 of the 1st of it's kind to have interactive content and user friendliness. Although quicly outdated, it made a huge impact on the world.
  • Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)

    Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)
    The original founder of the comany was Fusajiro Yamauchi back in 1889, which later became Nintendo in 1933, moving into game console in 1984. It was't the 1ts of it's kind, but did change the gaming world forever and still has a big share of the market when it comes to gaming, but in recent years is more gear for young children. My Son has a Nintendo Switch, the latest console to come out. He was actually born on the US launch date, 25 years later.

    Google
    Founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin who both were attending Stanford University in 1998. This company that grew out of a garage came to domiate the world. From it's early days as just a search engine it has grown to have a wide aray of products that have reached into almost everyone's lives all over the world today.
  • Nokia 1100

    Nokia 1100
    Nokia a company founded in 1865 in Espoo, Finland as a telecommunications and information tech company. The company moved into cell phone production in 1987 and the various models came later. This company grabbed a lion's share of the market in the early 2000's geared their marketting towards 1st time cell phone users, mostly everyone at the time. It has since died off, the Nokia 1100 was discontinued in 2007 after being outdated by better cell phones now being called smartphones.

    AllTrails App
    AllTrails Founded in 2010 by Russell Cook. The hiking app company has partnered with serveral larger companies such as National Geographic and Apple Maps. It has aquired several other companies along the way to add to it's tech base. This app allows it's user to download maps for when they are out of range of phone service. It now has more than 20 million users and 100 different countries.
