The Camera Phone (J-SH04)
The J-SH04 was made available in November 2000 and is the first camera phone to come to the market. Created by Sharp Corporation, the J-SH04 allowed those who had it to take pictures whenever they wanted without the hassle of carrying an additional camera. This has paved the way for what has become our Instagram culture today.

Invention of the iPod
The iPod was invented in October of 2001 by Apple. The invention of the iPod allowed the possibility to have an entire music library (up to 1,000 songs) available at any time. This has opened the door to online music availability (i.e. Spotify etc.)

YouTube was launched in February of 2005. The video-sharing site was created by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim. Since its creation, YouTube has allowed individuals to share their created videos with millions of people worldwide, enhancing our lives by giving everyone the ability to access and share informative and creative content with ease. iPhone
On January 9, 2007, Apple announced their new phone, the "iPhone". This "smart" phone has enhanced our lives by giving essentially the equivalent of a computer in our pockets. The ease with which iPhone users could access email, the internet, and take pictures and videos has paved the way for today's smartphones.
