First Electric refridgerator
I love to make a lot of food at once and keep it stored in a fridge to heat up in a microwave later, so I don't have to cook during the busy workweek. Or throw out after a month because I have forgotten about it. photo- Google Images -

Who had any idea Tupperware has been around this long! I use it everyday, storing all of my food. I use it to pack all of my lunches for school and to store leftovers.

A telephone with push buttons is created. The precursor to the modern day phone, and cell phone. Without push buttons we couldn't text!

CDs
Compact Discs for music appear on the shelves. When I was a child I loved going through my parents HUGE CD collection and playing music really loudly on their stereo. Now we have one little IPod to take their place. -
LCD
Liquid Crystal Displays were created and used in electronics, and are used in most electronics today. -
Internet
The World Wide Web is introduced to the public and it takes off. I wouldn't be taking this class without its creation, and certainly not not earning an online masters degree.
