This was the beginning of public usage of the internet connecting people to a sea of information and others around the world.

    John O’Sullivan and other engineers are credited with the invention of Wifi by combining 3 different ways of transmitting the signal. The use of wifi has changed the way we use our computers and even phones, tablets and other devices. No longer are we confined to a chair and desktop computer! Now we can take our laptops and devices on the go connecting it to other public wifis for use.

After computers were used publicly this came in handy for storage, data backup and transferring files between devices.
