Early Elementary School
At the start of elementary school, my teacher would allow us to take turns playing learning games, where we would play on her computer and it would be projected for the whole class. -
Later Elementary Years
We began to have computer time within class, with only 4-5 computers within the class. We took turns using them to create slideshow projects, take online tests along with learning games. -
Middle School
Had my first technology class for a semester. Had many more assignments involving the computer, including creating a website, brochures, slideshows and even videos. -
Starting Highschool
Going into high school, most projects were done through a computer. They tended to be standard essays, or slideshow presentations. Never really learned how to be creative and fun with them, always just wanted to get it done. -
High school -Independent Studies
After freshman year, I went into independent studies rather than going in person. The teacher for the rest of my high school years gave me a lot of creative freedom and opportunities to use technology for assignments. I made videos, and tried various formats for presentations.
