Doing the laundry back then was very complex. There were many steps of the process of doing laundry. Before, the washing machine was invented, you had to hand wash and air dry your clothes. Hamilton Smith was the first to invent the Rotary Washing Machine, a device that you put clothes into and washed without having a hard time. Although, that solved the problem of washing clothes there was yet nothing that made it easy to dry clothes. Then, in 1938 was an Electric dryer that made it way easier. -

Karl Benz, creator of the first automobile in the late 1800's soon became famous for what is now known as the car. Americans were a big fan of the automobile and in fact billions of them use it today. But, the first automobile was initially perfected in Germany and France close to what was around the 1900's. Later, in 1901 the first ever Modern Motorcar was invented and is now known as the Mercedes. The car is very useful as, it is a very efficient and easy source of getting around. -

In 1896, broken bones became way more easy to look at and discover all because of the X-ray Machine. Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen, inventor of the machine had the idea all when he began observing a fluorescent glow of crystals on a table near his tube where he was studying at Wuerzburg University in Germany. He lived from 1845-1923 and his life was constantly Science, as that was his favorite subject. As time went on the X-ray became way more complex and easier. -
History of the, Air Conditioner
In 1902, the first modern Air conditioner was created by Willis Haviland Carrier who at the time was a Skilled Engineer who began his career by working with the temperature change, that is also known as Humidity. Humidity seemed to be common at the time and there was no way to control and no way to cool down. When, the Air conditioner came out everyone was relieved because it no longer cooled you down, it kept your house at a comfortable temperature. Air conditioners have changed our lives. -
History of the, Airplane
It was exactly, 12/17/1903 when the first ever airplane flew. It was near Kitty Hawk, NC where Orville and Wilbur Wright (The Wright Brothers) were to make history for being the first able to fly the new invention called the "Airplane". Now, in 2018 we use it as a way to fly across country and get to places quicker and safer. To this day, on permanent display is the Wright Brothers aircraft where you can look and examine it, at the National Air and Space Museum. -

There was series of events before the first refrigerator was made for home use and was available to buy at the store and put in your house. William Cullen who studied at The University Of Glasgow demonstrated the first artificial refrigeration system in 1748. However, he never used what he discovered for practical purposes. Soon, later in the year of 1805, Oliver Evans who was an inventor designed the first refrigeration machine that didn't use liquid and instead used vapor to cool. -

Because of the radio, created in 1920, we now have the opportunity to listen to music, radio stations, and live broadcasts. The radio was used as a source of entertainment. The radio was helpful during The Great Depression and many wars because it allowed soldiers wives back home to be able to listen to what was going on. To this day The Radio is and amazing way of entertainment and a source of listening to things. -

In 1932, was the first electric golf cart. It was custom made by, Merle Williams but unfortunately did not gain widespread acceptance. Throughout the 1930's until the 1950's the only ones who were granted access were for those with disabilities or for the ones who could not walk. Now, today golf carts come in very handy especially for people who are interested in golf. It allows you to be able to go from course to course without having to have a hassle on a hot sweaty day. -

The very first cell phone was invented in 1973 by, Martin Cooper. The Cell Phone aloud people to speak publicly without having to leave their houses. It was a great opportunity to anyone who had the cell phone because it was very convenient and easy to be able to contact friends and family. At the time you were very fortunate if you could afford a phone because in order to purchase one it was $3,995. It wasn't till around the 1980's until the phone became very widespread. Now, everyone had one.
