  • Furby

    Furby
    Tiger Electronics and Hasbro created the Furby, a totally creepy and funny looking creature meant to be raised like an artificial pet. There was definitely good intentions with this invention but there were probably more traumatized children than happy children.
  • Game Boy Advance

    Game Boy Advance
    Created by Nintendo, the Game Boy Advance was a portable gaming device that ran off of game cartridges. Each game had it's respective cartridge that could be inserted into the GBA and played. Many spent hours a day playing on the gaming device, spending time, and money to buy new games.
  • T-Mobile Sidekicks

    T-Mobile Sidekicks
    This was the iPhone for early 2000's. If you didn't already have one, you wanted one. The Sidekick got rid of the T9 texting that was already on the flip phones, so instead of pressing one button to get 4 differently letters, there was a standardized QWERTY keyboard underneath the sliding screen.
  • Wii

    Wii
    Created by Nintendo, the Wii was a common household gaming console. Games were printed onto CD disks and then inserted. The new technology allowed for games and other apps to also be installed onto the device itself.
  • iPhone 2G

    iPhone 2G
    This was the first gen iPhone. Created by Apple, no other phone on the market was quite like it at the time. It had a touchscreen and introduced the app store. This phone spiraled a chain reaction of production in the mobile phone market that is still going on today.
