Adobe Illustrator was revolutionary and is still one of the primary programs used today in modern marketing and graphic design. It made digital creation easier and was lightyears ahead of MS Paint! -
Zelda II
The Zelda franchise holds a special place in a lot of people's hearts around the world. The Nintendo NES had been popular since the 70's, and the Zelda release in 1987 was huge. But with all tech advancements, some things (and games) are bound to become obsolete. -
Gameboy
The handheld Gameboy was invented in 1989 and came preloaded with Tetris (another marvelous invention!). It was invented by Nintendo and was revolutionary because you could take a little computer game with you on the go a switch out the games at will. I feel that the Gameboy really set the standard in terms of gameplay and accessibility for future consoles.
