    USB Flash Drive
    The thumb drive, USB, or even the memory stick was believed to be invented in 1999, but did not appear in the market into 2000. It was created by a Singapore tech company called Trek 2000 International. Its purpose is for device data storage. Common uses are for back-ups and transferring of computer files. This creation is a way to have a smaller, faster, more capacity and durable way of holding and storing files and date better than having floppy disks or cds.
  • IPOD

    IPOD
    On October 23, 2001, the first ever IPOD was released by Apple, which was created by Steve Jobs. IPod classic was a portable music player with 5GB of storage that held 1,000 songs. The slogan was "1,000 songs in your pocket." This released also introduced us to ITunes, digital music software.

    Facebook
    As a lot of us know, Facebook launched in Feb 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg as well as his Harvard classmates. In 2006, it become public. It was the beginning of a social media platform that can connect people all over the world. Facebook has gone through a few name changes, as it is currently know as Meta.

    Wii
    Nintendo released the video game console known as Wii in 2006. It was an innovative, low cost console that featured multiplayer "party" games, such as Wii sports. The Wii also included a wireless remote controller that attaches to a joystick or other input device. Wii included features like being able to choose from various channels to communicate and play with other wii owners, and being able to create your own Wii avatars known as Mii's.

    Kindle
    Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos launched the first-generation Kindle in Nov 2007. Kindle is a small hand-held electronic device for reading books, or as known as an E-reader. The purpose was to bring people to books, to have a more accessible way of reading since we are living in a technology world. It gives you access to digital books and has just one tool. It was not created to compete with IPad.
