    Frank McNamara is the inventor of the credit cards. Today, everyone uses a Credit/debit card. This has to do with computer technology because shopping online is super popular. It's quick and easy instead of having to go to the store.
  • Television in Color

    Vladamir K. Zworykin, a Russian inventor, was the first to create color television, however; it was first introduced in the US in 1950. Color television is all we see today. People see a movie in black and white and just know it was from a long time ago. Color also grew into the printer so that we are able to print in color, not just black and white.
  • The Hovercraft

    Christopher Sydney Cockerell was a British inventer/Engineer. He owned a marina along with his wife. He decided he wanted to create something that skimmed along the water surface, but without the use of friction. The hovercraft today is not something that everyone uses on a daily basis, but it is something people use for entertainment. For example the hover cars at Golf Land. It's almost like bumper cars on the water.

    Robert Adler, also known as, the Father of the TV Remote. After WWll, Adler focused on television technology. In short, Adler created the remote by deciding that the remote should connect and communicate with the TV using sound frequencies. TV is huge nowadays and honestly who would want to get up every single time the TV needs to be changed or to change the volume.
  • Video Tape Recorder (VTR)

    Charles Ginsburg created the VTR in 1951. Charles figured out a way of slowing down the tapes so that the picture would look more smooth. CBS was first to use this technology. Video recording has enhanced our lives by being able to keep memories, create movies and shows, and being able to air news on the tv to be able to keep the world aware of what's going on.
