Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi or WiFi is a technology that allows electronic devices to connect to a wireless LAN (WLAN) network, mainly using the 2.4 gigahertz UHF and 5 gigahertz SHF ISM radio bands. In 1991, NCR Corporation with AT&T Corporation invented the precursor to 802.11, intended for use in cashier systems. The first wireless products were under the name WaveLAN. They are the ones credited to inventing Wi-Fi.

Bluetooth is a wireless technology standard for exchanging data over short distances from fixed and mobile devices. Bluetooth is used in iPhones, Androids, PlayStation 3 & 4 controllers & some computers. The development of the "short-link" radio technology, later named Bluetooth, was initiated in 1989 by Dr. Nils Rydbeck, CTO at Ericsson Mobile. The purpose was to develop wireless headsets, according to two inventions by Johan Ullman.
