    The mechanical clock was a new invention of the Middle Ages that emerged in the West in monasteries and developed in cities. The mechanical clock introduced to the Western world the values of precision and efficiency. The first European mechanical clock is documented in the year 1300 replacing water clocks
    Disadvantages: Accuracy, Maintenance and coast and fragility.
    Advantages: Craftsmanshiph and aesthetics, longevity and no battery dependency.

    Compass
    Approximately in the 11th century, in order to determine directions in the open sea. Initially it consisted of a magnetized needle floating in a vessel filled with water, later it was improved to reduce its size and facilitate use, changing the vessel of water for a rotating axis and adding a "compass rose" that serves as a guide for directions.
    Disadvantages: Limited information, dependence on map skills and variation and declination.

    The print was created for Johannes Gutenberg. Johannes Gutenberg was a German craftsman and inventor who invented an innovative press printing machine that used movable type. In 1452, Gutenberg began printing his most famous project, the Gutenberg Bible.

    Advantages: Mass production, widespread dissemination of information and standardization.
