First Reflected Telescope(17th Century)

The first reflected telescope was invented by James Gregory in 1663. This enabled us to be able to look at stars and other planets in the sky, The poitive of this was it helped us get a better understanding about outerspace. The negative affect it had on society is it just raised more questions.

The sewing machine was invented by a French tailor named Barthelemy Thimonnier. The sewing machine is a machine used to replace having to hand sew clothing. This invention made it much faster and easier to make clothes. This is very important to society because otherwise everyone would have to have their clothes sewn by hand this would be very time consuming,

The fact that are clothes would be more expensive without the sewing machine is a positive change that the sewing machine has had on society. A negative would be that clothes can now be made very quickly with a sewing machine which sometimes means they are not made with great quality.

A positive way that the air conditioner changed society is with people able to control the temperature in their house we were more able to avoid heat illnesses such as heat stroke, The negative affect this had on society was with our houses constantly cool in the summer people are less likely to leave their houses and go into the heat of the summer just to get fresh air.
