Apple Macintosh
Jef Raskin started the project to create the Apple computer after the success of Apple II. This was the computer that created a simple form factor to otherwise large bulky personal computers. This computer line would go on to be in many schools and used for education purposes for the 90s. -
Microsoft Windows
Bill Gates designed and released the second major operating system to enter the market to make computers easier to use. While the earlier versions were problematic and did not gain critical praise compared to Apple it is now in use by a majority of computer users.
