  • 3D Printing

    3D Printing
    3D printing was invented by Chuck Hull in 1984. 3D printing back then was simple, and the machine made objects like shapes or toys. Today, 3D printing technology is insanely amazing and can be used to create houses, bionic limbs, and much more!
  • Google

    Google
    Google went public in 2004 but was founded in 1998 and invented by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Google revolutionized the art of using the internet and looking things up. Today, Google is the biggest platform for internet usage and research, providing ways to communicate, have a business, present info, and even more.
  • Bluetooth

    Bluetooth
    Bluetooth was released in 1999, but only started being used by manufacturers in the 2000s. Dr Jaap Haartsen invented Bluetooth. Bluetooth is an incredible technology advance and is used for many things in today's age. It is a tool that people use in their day to day lives.
  • Skype/Video Calls

    Skype/Video Calls
    In August of 2003, Skype was launched. Skype is invented by Niklas Zennström. Skype changed the way of communications all over the world. Being able to meet face to face through a screen, or purely communicate across the world without owing a ton of money was ground breaking for the world. In 2021, Skype discontinued certain abilities, making it unpopular for a first choice of communicating.
  • Smartphones

    Smartphones
    The first smartphone (with touch screen abilities) to ever come out was in 2007, released by Apple. Smartphones changed the world and opened up the era of social media. We now use smartphones every day, all day. The original iPhone was discontinued a year after release.
