Blu-Ray is the New Way
In 2002 Sony developed the Blu-Ray player. Movie lovers were able to experience movie in a much higher resolution than ever before. The Blu-Ray also had smart features such as playing movies where people left off and a more interactive menu. -

In 2003 Tom Anderson invented MySpace became live to the public, anyone anywhere could have an online profile filled with their thoughts, feelings, favorite music, hobbies, and photos. MySpace allowed people to socialize in a whole new way to make friends, connections, and even in some instances romantic relationships. -
Got Streaming?
In 2007 Netflix brought streaming to consumers, families with access to the internet no longer needed a VCR or DVD player to watch movies as well as had a wide selection of television shows to binge without needing to wait for next week's episode. This kicked off a huge change in the world of entertainment intertwined with technology in consumers expectations for speed in development of productions. -
