    Originally made as an online book store, Amazon was released in 1995. Jeff Bezos founded the company and within one month, Amazon sold to all 50 states and 45 countries. This invention allowed people to buy goods from all over the world which is extremely convenient.

    Standing for digital video disc, the DVD was invented in 1995 and released in 1996 as a new way to record and watch video as a replacement for the VHS. This allowed for an easier way to store and play video, as well as record it and ship it to viewers.

    The domain Google.com was registered in 1997 by Larry Page and Sergei Brin. They met at Stanford and we’re working together on a program called “Backrub”. The search engine is the world’s largest search engine today and the company Google was incorporated in 1998. Google has enhanced our lives by allowing us to research faster and create like I’m doing now.
