The world wide web also known as WWW was developed and created by scientist TIm Berners-Lee. The internet was in my mind one of the greatest inventions ever created because it changed and shaped our world into what it is today. -
IBM 9345 HDD
The IBM 9345 HDD (Hard Disk Drive) was the first hard disk drive to use magneto-resistive heads. The bits on this hard drive were able to be more densely stored. This was significant because this was the very beginning of hard drives and storage of computers. -
SSD Model
SunDisk created this module which used non-volatile memory chips to replace the spinning disks of a hard disk drive. The significance of this was SunDisk realized that computers were becoming smaller and lighter, as a result technology and storage devices today are super small and can hold a lot of memory. -
DVD
The DVD (Digital Video Disc) was created by multiple companies. Eventually the DVD would be adopted in the film industry for consumer releases of movies, making VHS obsolete. This invention enhanced our lives making it easy for us to watch movies and transport them with ease. -
USB Flash drive
There have been multiple people who claim to have created the first USB Flash Drive, from IBM to Pua-Khein-Seng. This device has made life easy because how convenient and small it is to transport and save files, documents, etc.
