The Prius was one of the first cars to run on both electricity and gas. They became available worldwide in 2001 after being introduced in Japan in 1997. -
Facebook
Facebook was created by Mark Zuckerberg and launched in 2004. Facebook was originally only available to Harvard but once it picked up popularity it quickly expanded to what it is today. -
Nintendo Wii
The Nintendo Wii was released in 2006 in order to compete with the PlayStation and the X-Box. The Wii allowed players to get physically involved in their virtual games. The Wii was popular among people who didn't think that they were gamers and sold over 101 million units. -
iPhone
In 2007 Steve Jobs introduced the first iPhone. Jobs described the iPhone as a widescreen iPod with touch controls, a revolutionary mobile phone, and a breakthrough internet communications device.
