    The Nintendo Wii was released in 2006 in order to compete with the PlayStation and the X-Box. The Wii allowed players to get physically involved in their virtual games. The Wii was popular among people who didn't think that they were gamers and sold over 101 million units.

    In 2007 Steve Jobs introduced the first iPhone. Jobs described the iPhone as a widescreen iPod with touch controls, a revolutionary mobile phone, and a breakthrough internet communications device.
