The ipad
Apple does innovation very well. I thought that the ipad was too big and bulky to be practical but boy was I wrong. Tablets are now replacing computers in classrooms. They can do just about anything a desktop or laptop can do with the benefit of being way more portable. Ipad was the trendsetter in the new tablet game. -
Instagram
Created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, Instagram has changed how young people communicate. While Facebook is all well and good, my peers would agree that it's for older people. Instagram is not only a place to communicate but I know of many people who make their living from marketing on this social media website. -
Uber
Uber has changed how people get around. Garrett Camp and Travis Kalanick came up with the idea that by using a smartphone app to call a ride getting around could be easier and safer. I know that some taxi drivers would not drive to certain parts of town at night for fear of getting robbed. But with Uber you can review your driver and passenger which allows for safer travel. Rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft are now a permanent part of our society. -
Applewatch
I grew up always wanting one of those spy watches that James Bond had that had tons of features. In 2014 apple created the apple smartwatch with made that dream a possibility. Apple created a multibillion-dollar industry with the creation of the smartwatch. This innovation made it so whenever I geta call, text, or notification I do not even need to look at my phone. -
The Nintendo Switch
The switch changed the game in the gaming industry. After the monumental flop of the Wii u everyone was ready to put Nintendo on the shelf and play a real gaming console. But Nintendo combined all the best parts of its multiple gaming systems to create the most popular gaming console they have ever created.
