Technological Advances In my Generation

  • Google

    Google went public on September 7, 1998. Now, almost everyone in the world uses it as their number 1 search engine. It's very reliavle, and get you links to websites quickly.

  • Itunes

    I'm not sure of what the exact date of Itunes was, but i know it was in 2001. Itunes is a website that so many people use to purchase music, videos, and listen to music on.

  • Ipod

    The Ipod came out this day and instantly became a hit. But as time went on, many different variations of it have been invented. Now most people have the Ipod Touch.

  • Facebook

    I'm not sure of the exact date of its' creation, but I do know it was in February 2004. Facebook instantly became a social network used worldwide to connect with friends, family, etc.

  • Twitter

    Twitter first came out on July 15, 2006. It wasn't that popular at first, but as the years went, many people started to use it, and now a more than a million people use it.

  • Iphone

    The first generation Iphone came out on this day. It will remain in history because to this day in 2012, the Iphone is still such a popular selling product.

  • Android Phones

    Android is a smart phone used by many people. Not as many people use it as much as an Iphone though.

  • Bing

    Bing was first created on June 3, 2009. It's not as widley known as Google, but it's still a popular search engine.

  • Ipad

    This is when the first generation Ipad was launched. it's like the Ipod Touch, but much larger. many people use it as a computer, or for reading online books.

  • Instagram

    Instagram is a fairly new app used on smart phones, or ipods. It's an app where you can post pictures, and filter them to make them look differently. And people can follow you, comment, and like your pictures.
