Ps2
The Ps2 was the next generation console after the Ps1. At the time the graphics were outstanding and many people thought that it would never get any better than where it was. The console also allowed online gaming for the first time although many people didn't have that luxury. -
Gameboy Advanced
The Gameboy Advanced was a huge step forwards for hand held gaming. It enhanced the quality of on the go gaming and had color and was foldable. -
Nintendo DS
The DS was a huge upgrade to the Gameboy Advanced. It had two screens and was able to fit both the old and new style cartridges. One if the screens was also touch screen. It was also able to connect to the internet which made gaming with others much easier. -
Ps3
The Ps3 was a HUGE upgrade from the Ps2. At this point Online gaming was the norm and many games were Online focused like call of duty. This generation focused on online multiplayer games and a drastic improvement to graphics. -
Ps4
The Ps4 was the new console after the Ps3. The main upgrade here was how fast movement between apps was and how fast games were and how big they could be. As well as how much you could do on the system and the processing power it had compared to the old system. As well as a noticeable upgrade in graphics after a few years.
