Introduction
Many important advancements in technology where made during WW1. Some of these advancements are still used today whereas others died off with the war. In this timeline I will be going over the most important technological advancements during WW1. -
Trench Warfare 1914
Trench Warfare was first used in 1914 on the western front in the first World War. It was created for soldiers to take cover from enemy fire and quickly became very popular. However trench warfare was not as amazing as it may seem. The soldiers fighting in the trenches experienced terrible living conditions. Trenches would be filled with garbage and during rainy seasons they would be filled with water and mud.
