DVD's were released to the world in 1996 starting a replacement for VHS. Not one person or company can be credited with the creation of the DVD since several tech companies created variations and each came to an agreement on one format. -
The Creation of Google
Larry Page and Sergey Brin were attending Stanford University in 1996 when they started to work on a search engine called Backrub. After the success of the first trial, both cam together to create Google.com in 1997. They continued to develope the search engine, and later became a company in 1998.
