Ipod Nano
The iPod Nano came out on September 7th, 2005, I did not get one until the year 2006. When I got the iPod I was elated! I thought it was the collect thing. I was able to listen to music whenever and wherever as long as I had that. I had never been able to do that before. It to me was a life-changing device that instantly made me cooler. -
Playstation 3
The Playstation 3 was dropped on November 17, 2006. I got one around 2009 and this was a completely different experience for me. I was used to the Gameboy and the DS so having a separate controller and the game be on a tv was a mind-blower. It was amazing, I definitely played that console an unhealthy amount in the beginning. I got 4 Call of Duty games and beat them all on the hardest mode in 5 days. After that, I was hooked on gaming with that console and still have not gone back. -
Samsung Juke
The Samsung Juke was released on October 17th, 2007. I was now able to go where I wanted to and was just able to text my parents where I was going instead of having to go home every time I and tell them. It gave me a sense of freedom, or at least a small bit of some. This phone was also able to have games and music. And that was a big step up from my iPod. I was able to use it with or without headphones and I was one of the first kids in my friend group that got a phone. -
Beats Mixr
The Mixrs' was dropped, June 26th, 2013. These were the first headphones that in my mind altered the game. You know everyone when wearing headphones have one side off to hear/talk. With these, you were able to rotate the headphone piece so they were secure on your head and were less likely to fall off. This was amazing because my parents had me not cover one ear so if they needed me I was able to hear so this new style of headphones was so practical. In my mind, Dre did something revolutionary. -
Amazon Fire Stick 4k
The 4k version was dropped on October 12, 2018. The amazon fire stick was amazing to me because now I can spend 20$ on a fire stick and make my cheap tv a smart tv so it saved me at least 100$. And especially moving into my own apartment and me being a broke college kid this was like the holy grail for me! I really did get the biggest bang for my buck with the fire stick.
