Heist
On this day, Blaine, Gray's brother was Heisted. The feist was had for his 18th birthday and then at midnight he disappeared as everyone does. -
Letter
On this day Gray comes back to his lonely house once again this time to find that everything has been rearranged by the storm. However, there is one positive to this mishap that has occured. While searching through the rummage Gray finds a letter from his mother hinting at a secret that Blaine knew but they did not tell Gray. This starts all the questions that Gray has during the book in which he searches for answers for. -
Slating
After Blaine's Heist Gray was not given many slatings for a few weeks. Now he has been given his first in awhile and it is to Emma, the doctor's daughter who he has liked for many years. -
Their First Time
The first time Emma and Gray spent together went surprisingly well and you start to think that maybe the slating between them will actually suceed. They spend their day at the lake confessing things they never thought they would tell anyone and then they end up telling eachother showing how close they are getting -
Findings
At this point in the book on the same day not only does Gray go searching for Maude in her seemingly empty house but also finds out that Blaine and him were twins. He finds this out by the personal records that Emma's mom keeps. Later in the day towards night time Gray walks into Maude's house looking for her only to find her speaking to some mysterious hologram with a voice he had never heard before. -
Wall Talk
This is the first time that Emma and Gray have a serious talk about climbing the wall. They both know that they want to see what is out there and experience why no one else has been able to make it back alive. -
The Goodbyes
Gray had finally made his decision, he was going to scale the wall and climb over no matter what anyone thought or was going to tell him. He made his decision in the middle of the night and went to tell Emma who was obviously very against it. -
Scaling the Walls
Now is the point where Gray goes to scale the wall. He climbs the wall and drops over just like every person has before him. The whole way he feels as if someone is following him. He hears noises and everything behind him all the way there. -
The Reencounter
At this time Gray finds that he has been followed by Emma this entire time and she was the noises that he had heard. Gray is upset because he doesn't want Emma to get hurt. -
Savior Encounter
While searching in the lands past the walls they encounter a group of people who are "Saviors of the Land" that bring people to safety. They say that Emma and Gray are the first people they have ever been able to get to before "it" gets them. -
The Trip

Taem Experience
Upon arriving, the two, Emma and Gray have realized that Taem is nothing like their home of Claysoot. Taem is much more technologically advanced and has a ton of more people. -
Meeting with the Clown
Upon arrival in the main city of Taem Gray was put right in a cell. While in the cell he was put with a man who was often reffered to as a clown. While the man was necessarily scary he had most definitely gone insane. -
President of Taem
After being brought out of the jail cell in the President's House he was then brought to talk to the President of Taem. The President tells him that there is another person with the last name of Weathersby staying witht them and he may be eating in the mess hall at the time of their meeting. -
Back with Blaine
After learning that Blaine was staying in Taem after being Heisted Gray practically runs to the mess hall to find Blaine and all of the other people that have been Heisted from Claysoot.
