Lebanon As the violence continues in Syria, many civilians crossed the border into Lebanon to get away from the explosions and gunshots from their homeland. That relief they had for a few hours was short lived. The Lebanese police rounded up the Syrian civilians and sent them back into Syria. -

European Union The European imposed new sanctions to Syria, blocking any trade involving oil. That marks a huge blow considering that 92% of Syrian Oil exports go to the European Union and they're losing out to 3 billion Euro a year.
