Syrian population begin to protest against the Regime and demand democracy. The security forces begin kill some of those people protesting. Bashar al-Asad makes some conciliatory announcements but the army keeps killing people. -

Arab League condems Syrian Regime and sanctions it, and sends observers into the country. -

More people get killed and Arab Leagues decides to leave the country because of so much violence.
