Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife were assassinated by Gavrilo Princip in a Austro-Hungarian province. This assassination was so important because it was one of the events that eventually lead to WWI. -
Nicholas II Abdicates the Throne:
At the end of the Febuary Revolution, Nicholas II decided to leave the throne. After leaving the throne, Nicholas was executed along his family. -

The Paris Peace Conference was a conference that was lead after WWI ended. At this conference, they came up with the idea of the League of Nations as well as several peace treaties between countries.
