  • Summer reading- Crispin (2nd book)

    Summer reading- Crispin (2nd book)
I would rate this novel 3 out of 5 stars. There were two main characters Crispin and Bear. They both wanted to know more about Crispin and where his father went. They were adventurous and brave, going through many obstacles, without stopping.I liked the plot of the story, but I didn't like how they didn't always explain many things.
  • 1st workshop novel- The Fault in Our Stars

1st workshop novel- The Fault in Our Stars
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. A girl and boy both met in a cancer support group because of their medical issues. They fell in love and started to learn more and more about each other. I love this book because they have so many great quotes and interesting moments. They describe everything perfectly and make you really into the mood of which you react when something happens.
  • The Outsiders

    The Outsiders
I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. The main characters were Ponyboy Curtis, Darrel Curtis, Sodapop Curtis, Two-Bit Mathews, Steve Randle, Dallas Winston, and Johnny Cade. They were all very adventurous, funny and (eventually) loving. I liked how they described what happened all the time and how they would always be doing something interesting.
  • 2nd workshop novel- Hunger Games

    2nd workshop novel- Hunger Games
I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. The main character Katniss, had to go through a deadly game, along with other contestants. In order to be able to stay alive she had to pretend to be in love with someone she really hates; although this actually changes throughout the time. I loved this book because it had so much action and many different great/exciting moments.
  • Lit circle novel- The Westing Game

Lit circle novel- The Westing Game
I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. All the characters participated in a game in which they could win Sam Westings estate, if they found out who killed him. All the characters were parred up and got clues to help them. I liked how this book had lots of characters and exciting scenes. Although, they didn't always explain everything to you, they would make you try and figure it out as do the characters.
  • 3rd workshop novel- Catching Fire

    3rd workshop novel- Catching Fire
I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. This time around there is another games held- the Quarter Quell. Snow was hoping to get rid of Katniss, but her and her friends manage to stay alive once again. I liked how in this book they had romance, trust, action, and hope. The characters really played good when there was a problem and showed lots of emotions.
  • The Giver

    The Giver
I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. The main character (Jonas) has to learn about painful and very different things, then he normally would in the Community. He is given the most important job, the Receiver. I liked this novel because it was so different than how we live right now and it was interesting to see how they interpreted things.
