Tommy Sopwith learns to fly. he is awarded Royal Aero Club award. Early events where on a Howard Wright plane and had frequent falls until he attained neccessary skill. this skilll rapidly grew. -
Training school is estabilished
Tommy Sopwith created an avaitationschool in Brooklands because of his love of flying. while it wasnt cheap it was a valuable experience. -
Sopwith Hybrid
Was designed in kingston but was first flown by Harry Hawker, the co designer, at Brooklands. -

Sopwith Snipe
The Sopwith Snipe was not a particularily heavy gunner but had good manouveribliltiy and was more than a match for the german plane in dogfights. -
Sopwith Bulldog
The Sopwith Bulldog was supposed to replace the Bristol F.2 fighter however it did not succeed. its was mainly used in dog fights and reconaisance. -
Haker LTD
Harry Hawker started his own company after Sopwith died making planes. -
Hawker Hurricane
The Hawker Hurricane was built by what was now called Hawker LTD. it was a sinlg seater fighter good for dog fight because of its keen manouverability. -
Hawker Fury Biplane
was a new version of the Hawker Hart except fitted witha rolyroyce engine. -
wellington
the wellington bomber was, as its name suggests, a bomber. it was made in the 1930s and was a valuable asset in the war. -
Hawker Hunter
The hunter had a mixed range of abilites and could either be a dog fighter because of its manouveribility and climb, a bomber because of its ability to carry heavy loads or for reconnaisance because of its stealth.
