During this time, the colonists had put up with the red-coats long enough and decided to pick a fight with them. They had started to throw rocks at the soldiers, but when a soldier was knocked down, the soldies thought that the colonists shot him. As soon as it was started, it was ended by five colonists killed by red-coats. -
Tea Act
The tea act was an act to tax all tea that was shipped from Britain and was what all colonists hated. -
Boston Tea Party
This was the time when the Boston sons of liberty decided to dress as indians and threw 342 chests of tea overboard the ship they snuck onto. -

Congress managed the colonial war and moved towards independence. -
