What I know
What do I know about solids, liquids, and gases? -
Gas
Is something you can't see. You use gas to fill a balloon. -
Liquid
Liquid is like water. It is wet. -
Solid
is something that is hard. -
Period: to

What I want to know
What do I want to know about solids, liquids, and gases? -
Gases
Where do gases exist?
What are some kinds of gases? -
Liquids
Why do liquids change shape? -
Solids
Why are solids hard? -
Liquid
Liquids fill the shape of whatever they are put in. They have no definte shape, but definite volume. The molecules are constantly flow around one another. -
What I learned
What did I learn about the three states of matter? -
Solids
Solids are hard because their molecules are firmly in place. Example is a rock. -
Gases
Gases are easy to compress, they expand to fill their containers, and they occupy far more space than the liquids or solids from which they form. We can some gases because they absorb visible light and some gases assume color. We can see steam which is a form of a gas.
