Stages of Alzheimer's

  • Stage 1

    In this stage of the disease you will not notice any any huge changes and the only way to be diagnosed is to have a brain scan
  • Stage 2

    The person might become a little more forgetful and you may notice small things like misplacing things often
  • Stage 3

    The person may start forgetting recentally learned information, asking questions over and over, as well as forgetting names of new people.
  • Stage 4

    The problems in stage 3 will become more noticiable as well as forgetting details about themselves and important date, or forgetting names of new people
  • Stage 5

    In stage 5 the symptoms will become more severe, the person will start to forget where they are, what time it is, and things like phone numbers and adresses.
  • Stage 6

    The person may recognize faces but will not be able to place names to the faces even those who are closest to them.
  • Stage 7

    In this stage the person will lose the ability to do basic everyday things like eating walking and sitting, and in some very severe cases they cannot tell if they are thirsty
