  • John Locke

    He was a great political philosopher known for writing that the government is expected to serve the people. There is no exact date for the happening. He died in 1704 way before the decoration of independence
  • Boston Port Act

    The point of the Boston Port Act was so the Britsih cold maintain power of the Colonies it passed on March 3, 1741.
  • Charles Montesquieu

    He was best known for his belief in separation of power. He died in 1755
  • George Washington and Martha Washington married

  • French and Indian War

    The French and Indian war was apart of the Seven Years Wars. It started in 1754 and was ended in 1763 because of the french peace treaty.

    The French and Indian War ended in 1763. The British gained a lot out of it, they mostly got land. It ended because of the French Treaty.
  • Treaty of Paris

    The treaty of paris is what ended the war between indians. It ended in 1763. It also ended a war between Britain and France.

    Because the British got land in North America, the Proclamation of 1763 made it so Colonists could not have land where the british did.

    The sugar act was the first attempt to raise money for the colonies. It was not successful

    The Currency act was one of the many acts that the British performed on the colonists. The British banned using coins as currency as well as all other things. This had a negative effect on the colonies.

    The stamp act was made to raise money for the colonies, it was the second attempt to raise money.

    The Quartering Act was an act that made colonists house British soldiers in their homes.

    The Declaratory act was terrible for the colonists. It made it so the British could do whatever they wanted to the colonists.
  • Townshend act

    The Townshend act resulted in the boston massacre. It was an act that implemented taxing goods that come into America.
  • Boston Massacre

    The boston massacre was started by patriots mob throwing snowballs, rocks, sticks. A lot of colonists were killed.
  • Boston Tea Party

    The boston tea party happened on. British ships cam into boston harbor with a lot of tea in chest on the ship. Colonists boarded the ships and threw the chest of tea into the harbor. This spikes into the American Revolution.
  • Quebec Act

    The Quebec Act made it so French Canadians could believe in any religion that they wanted to. The Quebec Act replaced the temporary government that Canada had.

    The administration of justice act made fair trials for British who were facing offenses.
  • Massachusetts Government Act

    The Massachusetts Government Act was a fear striking act. It angered colonists because they thought if the British did it ot one colony they would do it to all of them. It gave the Governor really strong powers and that scared the colonists.
  • first Continental congress

    The first Continental Congress was 13 delegates from each colony except for georgia. They met during the native American uprising.
  • French Alliance

    The french alliance was an alliance between America and France. hey made this spo they had military support during the Revolutionary War. It started in 1775 and ended in 1783
  • Second Continental Congress

    The Second Continental Congress was formed about 1 year after the first continental congress. It had delegates from 13 colonies, it was formed soon after the Revolutionary War started.
  • Paul Revere

    He was apart of the boston tea party. He is also known for his midnight ride letting the colonial militia know that great britain is close to them

    30,000 Germans were hired by the British to fight for them. There is no date in which they were hired. So I put the date to the war they fought in. This is not the only war they fought, it is the main one.
  • Lexington and Concord

    These were the first fights in the Revolutionary War. The battle name was named from the towns they were fought in.
  • Bunker Hill

    The colonists lost this fight, but it was early on in the Reovlutonary war so it was ok. It got its name from Bunker Hill In CharlesTown, Massachusetts.
  • Minutemen

    Minutemen were colonists that organized individual strategies and were self trained. There is no date for anything so I put a randumb one.
  • Abigail and John Adams letter

    Abigail wrote a letter to John Adams telling him to remember the ladies. She made sure that the Continental congress didn't forget about women.
  • Thomas Jefferson signs the declaration of independence

    He most notorious for the signing and writing of the declaration of independence.
  • John Hancock

    John Hancock was the president of second continental congress. He also signed the declaration of independence.
  • Declaration of Independence

    The declaration of Independence was a document saying why great britain was splitting from great britain. It was signed on August 2, 2776.
  • Articles Of Confederation.

    The Article Of Confederation, was a national government that could decide if wars would start. It started on 1777 after a lot of debate.
  • Battle of Yorktown.

    The battle of YorkTown was considered one of the last battle of the Revolutionary War. It lasted for 22 days from September 28th, 1781 to October 19, 1781.
  • US Constitution signed

    The US Constitution was a document stating basic human rights and laws for people.
  • Benedict Arnold

    Benedict Arnold was a hero of the revolutionary war but a big traitor for America. He switched sides on America to fight for the British. He died in 1801
  • Samuel Adams was considered a hero

    He was considered a hero because he was strongly against slavery. He also helped get America out of Great Britain's control. There is no exact date for this so I put when he died.
  • Alexander Hamilton

    He was not only one of the founding fathers but he was also George Washington's assistant. He died on July 12
  • Give me Liberty or give me death

    Give me liberty or give me death, was a speech performed by Patrick Henry weeks before the Revolutionary War. It was ironic because there was no peace and there was a war.
