Prince Henry
Even though Prince Henry didn't sail on any of his voyages, his efforts found that the "Green Sea of Darkness" was just a Myth. He helped built a boat that went faster and farther then anyother boat that had been made thus far. He sent out 30 to 40 ships on different missions throughout a two year period.

Vasco Nunez de Balboa
Vasco Nunez de Balboa was the first explorer to see the east shore of the pacific ocean. He saw the coast from a mountaintop in what we now call Panama. When he arived at the shore he claimed the oceans and shores as belonging to Spain.
