He made four journeys across the Atlantic Ocean from Spain: in 1492, 1493, 1498, 1502. He discovered the new world and marked his he had three boats the Pinta, Nina and the Santa Maria. He also was givin 104 men to sail with him. There is a saying "In 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue".

was a Spanish conquistador, who visited New Mexico and other parts of what are now the southwestern United States between 1540 and 1542. Coronado had hoped to conquer the mythical Seven Cities of Gold.

Pineda

he was the first to map the gulf coats drom florida to texas , he possibly had discovered the Rio Grande. On June 2, 1519 Pineda entered a large bay with a sizable Native American settlement on one shore. He sailed upriver for eighteen miles and observed as many as forty villages on the banks of the large, deep river he named "Espíritu Santo".

Moscosos Expedition

was a member of Hernando De Soto's expedition to explore La Florida-today's southeastern United States-and to obtain gold and other riches from the native peoples of the North American continent. The army of an estimated 600 men sighted land on May 25, 1539, on the western coast of Florida near what is now Tampa Bay, and landed on May 30. Over the next four years the expedition traveled throughout the southeastern United States
