DeVac Discovers Texas
His expedition built five ships then shipwrecked in Galveston. He was in Texas for eight years before found in Mexico. he encountered the Jumanos, coahuiltecans, and karankawas. -

Fray Marcos and Esteban Journey
The purpose of this journey was to find the seven cities of gold. Fray Marcos reported that he saw a giant city f gold bigger than Mexico City. Esteban was killed by the Zunis in Hawikuh because of transgression. -

Moscoso' Expedition
THe leader was De Soto. De Soto died at the Miss. River, so Moscoso became the leader. They didnt discover anything, but they did run into the caddoes and explored Florida to Texas. THey told their leader not to worry about Texas because nothing was there: that led to no exploration in Texas for a long time. -

Coronados Expedition
THe two cities he searched for were Quivera and Cibola. The guide for the second part was Turk. Coronado killed Turk because he lied about Quivera being full of gold. He discovered the Grand Canyon and Palo Duro Canyon. THe importance of his journey was that he said Texas wasn't worth exploring and that stopped exploration there for over 150 years.
