    They launched Apollo 11 on July 16 1969. It landed on the Moon July 20 1969. It returned to Earth on July 24 1969. The crew was Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins.

    In 1997 NASA launched the Cassini mission which they sent a probe to Saturn to study the gas giant and the research coming to an end in 2017. A team of 28 people from all over the world to build it in the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
  • Juno mission launches

    Juno launched in July 4, 2016 which was another probe but this time it was to study Jupiter. Again the Jet Propulsion Laboratory build the probe and the principal investigator Scott Bolton and he is from the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio.
