Explorer 1
The first satellite with an onboard telementry system,is launched on January 31,1958 by the United States into orbit aboard a Juno rocket and returns data from space.The three men who designed the Explorer 1 spacecraft were Dr. William H.Pickering,Dr. James A. Van Allen, and Dr. Wernher Von Braun.
