First telescope

Galileo a scientist that contributed much to the science community, created the first telescope that helped increase our knowledge of the world beyond ours. He used it to view the lunar craters, phases of Venus, and discovered Jupiters moons.

First clear picture of the moon

This picture allowed astronomers to study things like, features on the moon away from the telescope. It made great advancements as it showed them many thing that became useful with other projects.

First liquid fuel launch

After the theory of the rocket became known with the laws of motion, advancement in rocket was all that came. Liquid fuel made the rocket itself weight less, so it did not need more fuel to propel it farther.

This picture showed us what we were living on, as crazy as it sounds. This allowed astronomers to study what we lived on from far away. This also showed advancement in the technology we used to take this picture. (Picture Not first but just an idea)

This was a way the astronomers could get information from space, in space down to earth with out a direct path. They used signals that were successful to collect data and information through these machines.

This was a way they advanced in our technology and rocket knowledge. They put the instruments together to push it that far. They also could collect more data and information.

First chimpanzee in space

This was testing the area to see if soon humans could enter this new territory. While the chimpanzee was up there it was also taught to preform a task they was successful.

First human on this the moon

This was a huge accomplishment for the astronomers. Not only did it end the space race, it also proved that humans can safely travel there and back. It gave us more data to work from.

First space station

Apr 19, 1971

A space station is almost like a home in space. It is a place in orbit around something put there by us. It allows them to collect information form space and bring it back.

First photo and soil sample from mars

This provided them with a crazy amount of data. They could figure out what type of element it is made of and frigure out man things from there like, is life possible, if yes what kind, if no why not.

Venus soil sample and sound recording

This is pretty much the same as Mars, but collect this kind of data from multiple planets can help us detect thing to each planets. Figure out patters connecting each planet and more.

Space craft beyond Neptune

This makes is the only spacecraft beyond all the planets. Being so far our allows it to see farther out and collect data never seen before.

Astronaut Scott Kelly and cosmonaut Mikhail Kornieko returned to earth after a 340 days in space. Which makes this the longest recorded space mission ever.
