Cold War Begins
The Cold War was a "battle" fought by the U.S. and the Soviet Union after WW2 including their respective allies. There were many real battles during the time that the Cold War was taking place, but it never became a full-on deadly war with weapons. The closest that the two countries got to war was the Cuban Missile Crisis, with the Soviet Union installing missiles in Cuba that could be launched on the U.S. This inevitably led to a treaty, ending the Cold War. -
