From newborn
I was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico. There I lived with my mother, until the age of four. My mother spoked only Spanish. All my brothers and sisters also only spoke one languge. -
My four years old
When I was four years old my mother decided to go to Long Island where I began school in kindergarten. I study their until I reach the second grade. -
I returned to Puerto Rico
The three yeas I lived in the US, were enough to get a good grasp of the English languge. When I returned to PR and began school I remember having a very difficult time understanding and learning all that had to do with the syntax and grammar of the Spanish language. Since then I did not had good grades when it came to Spanish class. -
I returned to US
I remember going to Rochester, New York, December 20, 1989. I was in my ninth grade. I went to school only for half of semester, but I did very good on English class. I did not lost my skills to communicate in English. In 1990 we returned to PR.
