    After the end of the Minioan civilization, the Mycenaean expand their power around Greece, including the historic places of Crete and Knossos. They increase their influence over the Mediterranean sea.

After Rome was burnt in 390 BC, Rome recovered and took power of the entire Italian Peninsula by 264 BC, then fought a series of wars called the Punic Wars that gave Rome the control of the Mediterranean, Spain, and North of Africa. Romans also fought the Macedonian wars and successfully expanded to the East.
